Haruhi Suzumiya needs_weird

Haruhi's insistence that she knows Mikuru and Mikuru knows her is very confusing for the poor rabbit. But on the other hand, Haruhi helped save her life upon arrival here, and Mikuru is, as always, determined to be nice to her. And for all her oddities, she has yet to do anything to get on Mikuru's bad side. So Haruhi is definitely a friend, and someone Mikuru would martyr herself for. (Mikuru would martyr herself for a sandwich, though, so this might not mean much.)

Kyonko kyonko_narrates

On a superficial level, Kyonko gets onto Mikuru's friends list for helping save her life and for generally being a nice person. On a deeper level, Mikuru is...extremely grateful that Kyonko isn't making like Haruhi and going "LOLOL YOU KNOW ME COME ON". So she feels a bit closer to Kyonko than she does to Haruhi. Kyonko is probably her best friend in the Void.
